An exceptionally elegant vintage Comtesse handbag in white lizard skin, finished with warm gold-tone hardware.
Beautifully structured with a slim rectangular silhouette, single top handle and a fabulous ribbed gold-tone clasp to the front. The white lizard skin has a fine, delicate scale pattern and a subtle natural sheen.
The interior is finished in contrasting black with white lizard trim and is beautifully organised, with a zipped compartment and additional pockets. The Comtesse name appears to the interior.
The bag is in good vintage condition overall, with some age-related wear and patina to the hardware. Please note that there is a crack/split to the lizard skin on the handle, clearly photographed. The handle remains attached, but due to the age and delicate nature of exotic skin, we recommend treating this area with care. There are also some light marks and signs of age to the white exterior.
