A beautiful vintage Louis Vuitton Monogram tote in that wonderfully classic combination of rich brown Monogram canvas and naturally aged vachetta leather.
This is such a good everyday Louis Vuitton — a generous, uncomplicated tote shape with long leather straps that sit comfortably over the shoulder, a secure zip-top closure and reinforced leather corners at the base. The Monogram canvas remains beautifully rich and gives the bag that unmistakable vintage LV look.
The natural vachetta has developed a gorgeous warm honey patina, with the handles and leather details showing the lovely colour variation you expect from an older Louis Vuitton.
In good vintage condition. The Monogram canvas presents beautifully, while the vachetta shows natural patina and signs of previous wear. There is a light watermark to one of the straps and some water marking to the leather base, as pictured. These are most noticeable on close inspection and, in my opinion, sit very naturally with the aged vachetta.
A really lovely vintage Louis Vuitton tote with plenty of life left in it — practical enough to use all the time, but with all the character that makes the older Monogram bags so special.
