A true collector’s gem—this is a rare Louis Vuitton bucket bag from the exclusive partnership between Louis Vuitton and The French Company in the USA, produced between the 1970s and early 1980s. These weren’t sold in regular Louis Vuitton boutiques but through high-end American department stores like Saks and Neiman Marcus, making them as rare as they are iconic.
This version features the classic Monogram canvas with warm caramel leather trim and long shoulder straps. Inside, you’ll find a spacious open interior with a zip pocket and the signature French Company gold-tone chain loop for securing keys or accessories. Unlike modern Louis Vuitton bags, these feature coated leather accents, heavy-duty Talon zippers, and durable textile linings, built with longevity in mind.
Visible wear and a rich honeyed patina add character and speak to the bag’s age and use. There’s some rubbing on the base and trim, but the structure remains excellent and the interior is clean. The original yellow authenticity tag is still intact—a rare and lovely touch for vintage collectors.
