A wonderfully timeworn vintage leather vanity case by Madler Zürich, finished in rich cognac leather with brass hardware and beautifully worn patina acquired through decades of travel and use.
The case retains its original fitted interior and, perhaps most charmingly of all, still contains remnants of its original owner’s makeup and personal effects — a rare glimpse into the life of the woman who once travelled with it. The contents can be included for those who appreciate the romance and history of the case, or removed should you prefer the vanity empty.
The exterior shows all the character one hopes for in an authentic travel case of this age: softened leather, scuffs, marks and a beautifully aged finish that simply cannot be replicated. Original brass locks and fittings remain in place, along with a surviving vintage Swissair luggage label adding another layer to its story.
