The bamboo top handle is a hallmark of Gucci design, first introduced in the 1940s and remaining one of the house’s most enduring signatures.
The interior is lined in Gucci monogram fabric and features a zip pocket and leather Gucci Made in Italy tab. The serial stamp appears to date the bag to the late 1980s through early 1990s, a period that saw Gucci producing some of its most quietly luxurious leather goods before the maximalism of the Tom Ford era.
