Oh, these are fabulous. A wonderfully playful pair of vintage Christian Dior earrings, with the DIOR name cleverly worked into a heart and finished with an arrow running straight through it.
The openwork design is beautifully graphic, with the letters forming part of the heart itself rather than simply appearing as a traditional logo. The little arrow extends beyond the heart at either side, giving them that witty, slightly romantic touch that makes vintage Dior jewellery so much fun.
Finished in warm gold-tone metal, they have classic clip-on backs and a lovely drop that gives them plenty of presence without feeling heavy or oversized. They’re particularly striking when worn, where the fine open design almost appears to float beneath the ear.
In very good vintage condition with minor signs of previous wear consistent with age.
