A fabulous vintage Céline Paris silk scarf with one of the house’s most recognisable themes — extravagant gold chains, medallions and jewellery motifs.
The design is spectacular against the black and charcoal striped ground, with layer upon layer of oversized gold links, fine chains and dangling charms. Little cage-like medallions are worked with CELINE PARIS, alongside sunburst pendants and beautifully detailed hardware, giving the entire scarf the look of an enormous piece of vintage jewellery.
The contrast between the glossy black silk and saturated gold is particularly striking, while the tonal charcoal stripes running through the background add another layer to the design. CELINE PARIS is printed in gold at one corner.
The original composition label remains attached and confirms 100% silk, Made in Italy. The fabric has a beautifully fluid, lightweight finish and generous square shape, making it gorgeous worn around the neck, draped across the shoulders or tied over the hair.
