Founded in Venice in 1945 by Giuliana Camerino, Roberta di Camerino became internationally celebrated for transforming the handbag from a simple accessory into a true fashion object. The house became renowned for its luxurious Venetian velvets, sculptural silhouettes and distinctive hardware, attracting admirers including Grace Kelly and Elizabeth Taylor.
