A fabulous vintage Fendi tote in the house’s instantly recognisable Pequin stripe, finished with one of the most striking oversized Fendi logos I’ve seen on a vintage bag.
The structured rectangular body features Fendi’s classic brown and black vertical stripes, contrasted by a huge circular black leather appliqué embossed with the FF logo, “Fendi Roma Italy” and 1925. Long black leather handles make it an easy shoulder bag, while the simple, graphic shape gives it such a great vintage feel.
The interior features the original Fendi S.A.S. Roma – Made in Italy plaque, an early Fendi marking associated with the house’s vintage production. Together with the Pequin stripe and construction, this dates the bag to the 1980s. A brilliant piece of Fendi history that feels distinctive and collectible without being overly formal.
In very good vintage condition, with light signs of previous wear consistent with age.
