A beautiful example of the classic Louis Vuitton Trouville, and this one is in particularly lovely condition. The structured shape, rounded top and large curved front pocket give it that instantly recognisable vintage Louis Vuitton look.
Finished in classic Monogram canvas with natural vachetta leather trim, double rolled handles and gold-tone hardware, the Trouville is a wonderfully practical smaller vanity-style bag. The front pocket adds a lovely bit of detail, while the zip-around opening gives easy access to the beautifully organised interior.
The condition is very, very good. The Monogram canvas is rich and beautifully preserved, while the vachetta is still remarkably light with only a gentle warm patina beginning to develop. There is some light surface scratching to the vachetta panel on the front, as pictured, but otherwise the leather presents beautifully.
The gold-tone hardware is gorgeous and gleaming, including the zipper hardware and Louis Vuitton padlock. The light textile interior is pristine, with the pockets and compartments exceptionally clean.
