A timeless Louis Vuitton icon. This vintage Speedy 30 in Monogram canvas was made in France in January 1989, confirmed by the early two-part date code on the inner tabs.
Originally designed in the 1930s and still one of the most recognisable silhouettes in fashion, the Speedy is effortless, elegant, and endlessly collectible.
This piece has aged gracefully. The canvas is in good condition, with minor creasing and softening from wear. The brass hardware has been polished, and the vachetta leather has been cleaned and conditioned. The handles show expected darkening and patina, and there’s some scuffing to the corners and piping.
The interior is clean overall, as photographed. The zip runs smoothly, and the original Louis Vuitton padlock is still attached—though the key is not included. The leather pull on the zipper has been replaced
